Three students from the physical therapy class of 2024 – Caitlyn Bartholemew, Samantha Granec, and MacKenzie DeHoff – received the Outstanding Student Poster award for, “Aquatic vs. Land Based Physical Therapy Effects on GMFM in Children with Cerebral Palsy: A review of literature,” at the Munroe Meyer Institute’s (MMI) April Poster Session. The event showcased students who have conducted research throughout their training programs within the last year.
The poster was part of their LEND (Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disorders) program, which they’ve been completing throughout the last school year with MMI. The three presented the poster with other doctoral students and post-doctoral fellows from different disciplines (psychology, nutrition, OT, SLP) to staff and faculty at MMI.
