Our Clinical Perfusion program recently added a new faculty member, Nicole Insinger, MPS, CCP, LP. Here’s more about Nicole in her own words:
I was born and raised in Omaha, Neb. I attended UNL, where I received my Bachelor of Science in Biology with minors in Biochemistry and Spanish. After graduating from UNL, I decided to attend UNMC where I received my Master of Perfusion Science before accepting a job as a clinical perfusionist at Nebraska Medicine. I have been a board certified perfusionist for just over two-and-a-half years, and I am excited to start this new journey as an adjunct instructor at UNMC!
Outside of work I love spending time out in nature with my husband and two dogs, whether it’s running, taking the dogs to the lake, or exploring local trails! My hobbies include gardening, researching all things about plant-based health and zero waste, and enjoying any opportunity I get to go travel and explore the world!
I am so excited to be part of the College of Allied Health Professions and I look forward to learning and growing with the team!
