Welcome new PA faculty: Pamela Dickey

Pamela Dickey, MPAS, PA-C, recently joined the CAHP as assistant professor in Physician Assistant Education at our Kearney campus.

Pam practiced as a PA in family medicine for almost 20 years, with seven years of emergency medicine experience.

In her own words:

I enjoyed teaching PA students as a clinical rotation preceptor for the last 12 years and decided to become dedicated full time to PA education. I’m looking forward to utilizing my years of clinical experience to benefit students through the didactic phase and beyond.

I’m a graduate of UNMC’s PA program, and appreciated the excellent education I received that prepared me well as a practitioner to care for the patients we serve. I am excited to give back to an excellent program and its’ students.

My family is moving from Lincoln, NE to Kearney, NE, and I’m looking forward to becoming a part of our new community. My husband, Wade, is a 24-year military veteran, and we have three children, Kaelin (22), Garrett (16), and Gavin (10). We like to spend time together biking on trails, hiking, skiing, and watersports.
