Last Saturday, a few PA faculty and staff teamed up with doctors in the nephrology department to form the Interprofessional team “UNMC Varsity” to run the Super Bowl 5k.
Carey Wheelhouse took 2nd place overall in the women’s division. Annie Wildermuth received 2nd place in her age group. Melissa Dorr won first place in the Master’s women’s division and also received an award for being the first woman to finish the race carrying a football.
“It was both a fun and rewarding event!” said Melissa.
