The Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (SDMS) inducted Kimberly Michael, MA, RT(R), RDMS, RVT, FSDMS, as SDMS Fellow.
Fellow designation is the highest honor the Society can bestow on a member. An SDMS Fellow exhibits professional qualities and attributes by contributing to the advancement of sonography and supporting the SDMS.
Kyle Meyer, PhD, dean of the CAHP said, “The College is extraordinarily proud of Kim’s accomplishments. She and her colleagues have elevated themselves and the College to national notoriety in imaging science education and research.”
Additionally, Kim and Tanya Custer, MS, RT(R)(T), placed second in the SDMS 2017 Scientific Presentation Competition for Open Book Testing in Ultrasound Physics: Student Perceptions and Outcomes. They were honored on October 13, 2017 at the SDMS Foundation Awards Dinner during their annual conference.
