Welcome new faculty: Anne Wildermuth

Anne Wildermuth, MMS, PA-C, RD, joins the Division of Physician Assistant Education as an assistant professor. She comes from Verde Valley Medical Center in Cottonwood, Arizona, where she was a physician assistant in the Department of Emergency Medicine; she was involved in clinical education of medical students and residents during their emergency medicine rotations.

Since becoming a PA, Anne has been involved in giving lectures to residents, students, and first responders. In the past she also practiced in urgent care and urology, and prior to becoming a physician assistant was an inpatient registered dietitian. She has a special interest in emergency medicine and particularly enjoys teaching students how to apply classroom learning to successful clinical practice. She is a 2012 graduate of Arcadia University’s Physician Assistant Program with a Masters in Medical Science.

Anne recently relocated to Bellevue, Nebraska with her boyfriend, Ryan (a Nephrology Fellow at UNMC), and their dog and cat.
