PT Alumni Chapter sponsors multiple events

PT Class of 2016 preparing to leave for clinical rotations.

The Physical Therapy Alumni Chapter sponsored a farewell pizza party for the third-year students the week before they departed on their clinical rotations. The Chapter and the Division of PT Education were also sponsors of the Nebraska Physical Therapy Association Fall Conference held at UNMC on Oct 17th as well as financial sponsors of the National Student Conclave (NSC).

Twenty-seven UNMC DPT students were among over 800 PT and PTA students from across the country in attendance at the NSC October 22-24. This year, the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) hosted the conclave in Omaha at the CenturyLink. NSC is an annual national conference directed at PT and PTA students and is designed specifically to help them prepare for their careers in physical therapy.
