Wait! Don’t throw away that old used up pen, pencil, or marker! Take it to Fran or put it into this dropbox in the PT department breakroom (BTH 3014J). This recycling program helps the environment and benefits charity. In partnership with TerraCycle and Sanford (a Newell Rubbermaid company), UNMC LiveGreen is offering a special recycling program for defunct writing instruments. For each defunct writing instrument that is sent to TerraCycle, UNMC LiveGreen will receive 2 cents, which will be used to help fund other energy and resource conservation efforts on campus.
