Kate Wampler is the new Clinical Education Coordinator for the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program in the School of Allied Health Professions. She is a native of Omaha and graduated from Millard North High School. Kate received a BS in Radiation Science from UNMC in 2002, with specialties in Radiography and Sonography. She has been practicing as a staff sonographer for ten years at The Nebraska Medical Center. Kate stays involved with her profession as a long standing member of the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers and has served as a member of several committees.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, knitting, and running.
