Cytotechnology and Perfusion Education Programs Adopt a Family this Christmas

Students, faculty, and staff members from the cytotechnology and clinical perfusion education programs, along with faculty from the medical nutrition program, adopted a family through the social work department at The Nebraska Medical Center. The family consists of a single mother with a premature baby who has been in the NICU for three months. The students took on the task of shopping for the family and wrapping the gifts they purchased.  This has been a wonderful experience of interdisciplinary teamwork between these educational programs in the School of Allied Health Professions for the benefit of helping those in need this Christmas.

We wish you and your families a Merry Christmas and hope you are blessed this Holiday season.
