Kiley Parsons, CNA, has been promoted to Clinic Operations Lead for the Department of Psychiatry.
Parsons, CNA, joined the department in May 2024. During the past year and a half, Parsons has not only been the first face many patients see, additionally she has also helped with training and scheduling. Psychiatry Clinic Manager Meagan Kankovsky, LICSW, said Parsons earned the promotion.Kiley Parsons, CNA, has been promoted to Clinic Operations Lead for the Department of Psychiatry.
“Many of you have seen firsthand how consistently she goes above and beyond in her role as a PCT,” Kankovsky said. “She has taken on operational lead responsibilities, supported the team without hesitation wherever or however needed, and stepped into tasks well outside her PCT job description- all with a positive attitude and a strong commitment to our patients and improving our workflow. Her hard work, initiative, and dedication have made a meaningful impact on our clinic, and this promotion is a well-deserved recognition of her hard work over the past year.”
Parsons said the position is a good opportunity. She has always wanted to work in hospital administration. Before joining the clinic, she worked as a personal trainer and regional manager in the fitness industry. She wants to use her training skills to help staff members succeed.
“I want to work hard at retention,” Parsons said. “I have been able to work with a lot of people and build good relationships.”
Parsons also says her strong organizational skills will help with scheduling, a sometimes-difficult task given that psychiatry staff members work at numerous locations, including Poynter Hall, HICSA, and IOP.
“I’m excited for this role, and confident because a lot of my duties are tasks I have already been doing for a while,” Parsons said.
