UPDATE 4/16/24: The first meet and greet session has been replaced with the rescheduled Davis Lecture. The second session will remain as is.
The McGoogan Health Sciences Library invites the UNMC community to attend an informal meet and greet with Jay Baruch, MD—this year’s Richard B. Davis History of Medicine Lecture speaker. Dr. Baruch is a writer, ER physician, educator and Professor of Emergency Medicine at Alpert Medical School of Brown University, where he serves as the director of the Medical Humanities and Bioethics Scholarly Concentration.
Two opportunities will be offered where attendees can gain personal perspectives from a practicing ER physician who will share his experiences and insights from the profession. Bring your questions. Ask for advice. Talk shop.
