Tammy Webster, PhD, Dean of the UNMC College of Allied Health Professions, served as an invited panelist at the Association of Schools Advancing Health Professions conference held in Nashville, Tenn., to share our college’s approach to implementation of AI.
In the plenary session on October 27, attended by over 200 people from across the country, Dr. Webster and two other members presented the Member Panel on the AI Implementation Journey: Institutional Approaches in Health Professions Education.
This panel brought together leaders from across health professions education to share how their institutions are navigating AI, including the structures and decision-making processes guiding their work and examples of how AI is being incorporated into teaching, learning, assessment, curriculum, and faculty development.
