Kearney, Nebraska — September 3, 2026 — More than 40 dietitians from across Nebraska gathered at the Douglas A. Kristensen Rural Health Education Complex in Kearney for the Medical Nutrition Professional Development and CEU Day.
The event brought dietitians together for a full day of learning, connection, and professional growth. Participants had the opportunity to expand their knowledge, share experiences, and connect with colleagues from communities across the state.
Attendees earned 5.5 continuing education units (CEUs) through a variety of educational sessions focused on topics relevant to nutrition and dietetics practice. The day provided an opportunity for dietitians to strengthen their professional skills while also engaging with others who share a commitment to improving health and nutrition throughout Nebraska.
Hosting the event at the RHEC also highlighted the importance of bringing professional education and networking opportunities to communities beyond larger metropolitan areas. The complex provides a unique setting for health professionals to learn, collaborate, and build connections that ultimately benefit patients and communities across rural Nebraska.
The MNED Professional Development and CEU Day reflects the organization’s commitment to supporting dietitians throughout their careers by providing meaningful opportunities for continuing education, collaboration, and professional growth.
Thank you to everyone who attended, presented, and helped make the day a success.
