Robb Steinpreis, BFA, is the new clinical education associate for our physician assistant program. Here’s more about Robb in his own words:
I grew up in Fremont, Nebraska, where I explored the hobbies only a small town can provide, such as dinners at Marcie’s diner or the Happy Inn, going for a Nerds blizzard at the Sweet Shoppe, playing roller hockey at Skate City, and riding down country roads during winter, holding onto a sled that was loosely secured by rope to the back of a friend’s pick-up truck.
I came to Omaha for college at UNO, where I bounced between English with a minor in Medieval and Renaissance Studies to Creative Writing with a focus on Fiction. While I pursued my artistic education, I found myself selling shoes, working in a bookstore, and eventually working in medical documentation compliance, which, naturally, led me to the latest adventure, UNMC.
In my free-time I enjoy writing, reading (anything from audiobooks to comic books), playing Dungeons & Dragons, re-watching Lord of the Rings or Star Wars for the thousandth time, and listening to true crime with my significant other while we put together a puzzle and eat nachos.
