Announcement from Shaun Grammer, M.S., PA-C
Director, Physician Assistant Education Program

I am pleased to announce that Annie Wildermuth, MMS, PA-C, RD, has been named the Associate Program Director of the Division of Physician Assistant Education. In collaboration with the Program Director, the Associate Program Director supports the planning, development, and monitoring of all aspects of the Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) curriculum and program administration.

Ms. Wildermuth joined UNMC in 2016 and directs the Adult & Pediatric Medicine Course Series in the PA curriculum, in which she also teaches the emergency medicine section. She has been instrumental in the development and implementation of the CAHP’s holistic admissions initiative, serving both as the chair of the PA program’s admission committee and on the CAHP Admissions Committee. Ms. Wildermuth also serves as the PA program liaison to the Interservice Physician Assistant Program (IPAP) in San Antonio, TX. Her work in this role has continued to develop and advance the CAHP’s collaboration with IPAP.

Ms. Wildermuth received her MMS degree from Arcadia University and practices in emergency medicine, earning her Certificate of Added Qualification in 2018. Prior to becoming a physician assistant, she was an inpatient registered dietitian. She is currently pursing a PhD in Biomedicine at Salus University, with an expected graduation in Summer 2022.

Please join me in welcoming Annie on her new role as Associate Program Director in the Division of Physician Assistant Education.
