Kellie Gossman, PT, DPT, CLT, PCS, was recognized during the recent APTA Combined Sections Meeting Specialist Recognition Ceremony. Through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) and National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME), she applied and was accepted into the Specialization Academy of Content Experts (SACE) to hold an appointed item writing position for the Pediatric Specialty Council for the next two years. Kellie passed the national board certification in pediatric physical therapy with the ABPTS in July 2018.
Division director of physical therapy education Betsy Becker, PhD, said, “Dr. Gossman’s expertise in pediatric physical therapy is an asset to the Division of PT. She shares her knowledge and skills through learning experiences in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program curriculum and with involvement in clinical work and service with children in the Kearney area.”
