Sara Karnowski, MA, recently joined the College of Allied Health Professions Academic and Student Affairs’ team as a student services associate. Prior to the University of Nebraska Medical Center, she spent three years as a student service coordinator for the University of Central Missouri working with military connected and dual credit students. UCM is also where she completed her graduate studies in communication.
Though a native of Southeast Iowa, being in a military family, Nebraska is the sixth state she’s called home. She recently relocated to the Omaha area from West Central Missouri and spent six years prior on Florida’s Emerald Coast. An avid sports fan, she likes to attend sporting events with family and friends. She is excited to remain in the Midwest, close to “home” and plans to spend free time exploring Omaha and traveling to see family.
