Patricia Hageman, PhD, represented CAHP as first author and last author, respectively, on two poster presentations, accepted through a highly competitive process for dissemination at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR) Symposium on Advancing Science, Improving Lives. The symposium was held October 13th, 2015 in Bethesda, MD.
Since 1997, Patricia has provided expertise about physical activity and function in rural women as a member of an interprofessional research team with UNMC’s College of Nursing faculty. This research team has been the recipient of three NIH NINR consecutively funded R01 projects since 2001, with Carol Pullen, EdD, RN as the PI on the two most recent projects.
