This past weekend, February 7-8, 2015, an Interprofessional group of 13 UNMC students representing medicine, pharmacy, and clinical laboratory science attended the Society of Student Run Free Clinics (SSRFC) national conference in Atlanta GA.
The poster presented by our CLS students Natalie Harmon and Megan Gunderson, “An Interprofessional Guide to Laboratory Testing: Sexually Transmitted Infection Diagnostics and Monitoring,” was well received and generated a lot of interest. There were over 500 students in attendance at the conference and included representation from the United States, China, and Germany!
Congratulations Natalie and Megan for a job well done, and to all the students who represented UNMC!
