We cleaned out our closets and/or brought in necessities for the annual Winter Essentials drive sponsored by our Student Ambassadors.
The Ambassadors took those items to a local non-profit charity organization, We Can Make a Difference, who delivered them to the Siena/Francis House. They estimated that over 150 people were fed and clothed, and provided with a number of essentials needed for everyday life.
We Can Make a Difference uploaded photos to their Facebook page. “The pictures don’t do justice,” they said, “as to how many people were actually helped on this day because we did it in 10-person shifts.”
“Thank you guys so much for your donations, we can’t wait to do it again!”
