Carmen Rivera is the new events intern for the College of Allied Health Professions. Here’s more about Carmen in her own words:
I’ve lived in Omaha, Nebraska all my life. I moved around to different parts of the city growing up, so I know the place pretty well. I’m currently going to school to get my bachelor’s degree in communication studies. I’m at Metropolitan Community college but I have plans to transfer to the University of Nebraska Omaha to finish my degree. I am an event intern here at UNMC where I support the office of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs for the CAHP.
Outside of work, I enjoy watching my niece and nephews, spending time with friends, reading a ton of books, watching movies, journaling/scrapbooking, and learning how to bake!
