Jessa Aguirre, BS, recently joined our staff as office associate for the Medical Imaging and Therapeutic Sciences programs. Here’s more about Jessa in her own words:
I was born and raised in Nebraska. I have a diverse background in business, healthcare, and entrepreneurship. I received my associate’s degree in counseling, and continued education at Bellevue university receiving my bachelor’s in business.
In 2017, I met my husband Miguel and began proudly supporting his career in the military. We were stationed as a family in Okinawa, Japan for three years before moving to Oceanside, California for a year. We have three beautiful children, each born in a different location.
After 13 years in the Marine corps my husband and I decided to take a break in our travels, leading us to return home. My most recent employment includes a year in financing, assisting with multi-state audits.
I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, cooking, and playing video games. After being a stay-at-home mom and running a few in-home businesses of my own, I am eager to focus on my career at UNMC and become a valued member of the team.
