Assistant Professor Morgan Anson, MPS, CCP, LP, is the newest staff member for our clinical perfusion program. Morgan is originally from Omaha, Nebraska. She received her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln before going on to get her master’s degree in perfusion at UNMC. Prior to working as a perfusionist at Nebraska Medicine she spent six years as a perfusionist at the University of Kansas Medical Center. During her time at KU, her passion for helping students became evident. She became responsible for coordinating and supporting the new perfusion students throughout their time there.
She and her family enjoyed living in Kansas City where they explored the outdoor activities and professional sports they had to offer. Last year they decided to move back home to be closer to their family. Morgan currently resides in Elkhorn, Nebraska with her husband and two little girls. They enjoy traveling, sporting events, and trips to the lake.
