Scott Sanderson, MPS, CCP, LP, is the new adjunct assistant professor and clinical education coordinator in the Department of Clinical Perfusion Education. Scott has been with Nebraska Medicine for the last six years serving as a staff perfusionist, and will continue his clinical roles alongside his new academic appointments. He is a former graduate of the UNMC Clinical Perfusion Education Program.
“As a former graduate of the UNMC CPE program and a current staff perfusionist within the Nebraska Medicine system, I am excited to utilize my experiences to embark on this new position and to serve as a coordinator between our students and their clinical training. The clinical education of our students has always been a high priority and a highlight of the program, and it is an honor to now be a part of that complementary relationship.”
Scott currently resides in Omaha, NE with his wife, Annie, and their two children, Adam (4) and Natalie (1). Outside of work, Scott enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and trying new restaurants.
