We are excited to announce the hire of Shaun Grammer, M.S., PA-C who comes to us with 8 years of full-time academic experience in PA education. He completed his Physician Assistant training from Des Moines University and has practiced clinically in both Family Medicine and Pediatrics.
He began his full-time academic career in 2010 and has had roles as Academic Coordinator, Admissions Coordinator, and Program Director. Mr. Grammer has passion for excellence in teaching, problem-based learning, and innovation in the classroom. Originally from the Council Bluffs/Omaha area, Mr. Grammer and his wife are also actively involved in a local nonprofit mobile health organization serving the underserved in Omaha.
“I am excited to bring my experiences and passion for teaching to the UNMC PA team,” he said. “We are developing future clinicians who provide exceptional, team-based care to all patients, and I am honored to have the opportunity to be a part of that experience.”
