The UNMC radiation therapy students and faculty attended the Chicago Area Radiation Therapists Annual Conference last week.
Of the ten schools attending, two UNMC students were recognized with awards for the essay competition.
First place: Jessica Backhaus- Radiation Therapy During Pregnancy
Second place: Megan Kuster- Radiation Therapy Safety
Dustin Hahn and Nicolas Steidl represented UNMC during the annual scholar bowl competition, with the winning team coming from Memorial Sloan Kettering.
It was a great trip with a great group of students.
