We welcome Cody Sasek, MPAS, PA-C, to the physician assistant program faculty as assistant professor. Cody is a graduate of the University of Nebraska Medical Center Physician Assistant Program. Since graduation, he has practiced orthopedics and sports medicine in private practice in Kansas City. His background also includes certification as an athletic trainer. While in Kansas City, his practice was responsible for the medical care for the Kansas City Chiefs football team.
Cody is a native Nebraskan and is excited about his return to the Cornhusker State. Outside of the profession, he is an avid sports fan and also regularly competes in triathlons and road races, including the Ironman triathlon distance.
Mr. Sasek joins the PA Program to support the increasing responsibilities associated with the program’s growing enrollment, teaching in the areas of his medical expertise and clinical inquiry.
It’s a privilege to have Cody join us, with his engaging commitment to education and the PA profession. Welcome to the team!
