On November 21, 2013, the Radiation Science Technology Education (RSTE) students, with support from the RSTE Alumni, delivered coats, hats, and gloves to the Miller Park Elementary School. Each year, the students collect new and gently used winter coats, caps, gloves, and monetary donations for the purchase of stocking caps and gloves for the children.
The RSTE students and faculty personally handed out caps and gloves to 27 pre-K students, then stayed to read to the children and munch on apples.
