Websites are always changing, and that’s a good thing. Pages need to stay current, and users need to be able to find information easily, which can pose a challenge in an organization as large as UNMC. Take a guess how many individual web pages we have? Go ahead! Put your answer in the comments and we’ll see who comes closest?
While you’re thinking about that, I’ll tell you something cool. The campus Web Advisory Group (WAG) has been hard at work on our Intranet and has made some awesome updates. Hopefully, you’ve noticed. If not, explore a little. Perhaps you’ve visited the UNMC 101 tab to find some stats. (Handy stuff!)
Or maybe you found the drop down menu at the top where you can log in to the most commonly used applications. Nifty!
It’s always a work in progress, as is our Internet site, and your thoughts are welcome. Can’t find what you’re looking for? Let me know and maybe we can make it more intuitive. Please email suggestions or comments to Fran at fhiggins@unmc.edu. We have a WAG retreat soon and will be discussing ways to make things even better.
