Welcome to new faculty member in physical therapy education

Betsy Becker, PT, MPT, CLT-LANA, is a new faculty member in the Division of Physical Therapy Education. She has been practicing physical therapy for 14 years in a variety of settings in both Nebraska and Arizona. Betsy’s area of interest and primary focus is in women’s health physical therapy.

Betsy comes to UNMC from the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Southeast Community College in Lincoln, Nebraska. She initiated the program and served as the Program Chair for the last four years.

Professor Becker received a Masters in physical therapy from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1999 and is a certified lymphedema therapist through the Lymphology Association of North America. She is currently working on her doctorate of physical therapy degree from the University of South Dakota.
