COPH mourns the recent loss of one of our own. Ms. Jackie Hill was a tremendous champion of public health – not just as a professional but also in her personal life which was dedicated to educating women in the prevention of breast cancer. Dr. Renaisa Anthony was honored for her work in health advocacy by the National Coalition of 100 Black Women (NC100BW) Greater Omaha Chapter. Dr. Anthony received the award during the 8th Annual Women of Color in Leadership Summit and Legacy Awards on Tuesday, October 4th. Dr. Anthony was honored for her efforts of education and promoting awareness in reducing health disparities of women. Congratulations Dr. Anthony!
