Join DiAnna Hemsath, archivist, at McGoogan Library, on Tuesday, March 26 from noon–1 p.m. CDT and peek into UNMC’s past. This session will explore women who shaped UNMC’s early history and is open to all UNMC, clinical partners (Nebraska Medicine and Children’s Nebraska) and public audiences. Individuals interested in attending must register online via Zoom.

  • Analyze and contextualize the political, cultural, and social history of early UNMC history as it pertains to women.
  • Gain an understanding that history is an evidence-based discipline that requires identifying reliable primary sources, such as those available in McGoogan Library’s special collections and archives.
