Maker Studio Adds New Crafting Tool to Collection

Silhouette CAMEO® machine located in the Jim and Karen Linder Maker Studio in McGoogan Library

UNMC student groups, are you looking for a way to make stickers, cards, or even heat-transfer shirt designs? The library has recently added a Silhouette CAMEO® machine to the Maker Studio. Precisely cut over 100 materials, including paper, cardstock, vinyl, heat transfer material and fabric. A Silhouette CAMEO® machine is a larger version of a Cricut and is sometimes referred to as a hobby cutter, a die-cut machine or a vinyl cutter.

The Maker Studio is available for all UNMC students, faculty and staff. Individuals can become authorized to use equipment independently by completing an orientation. See our Maker Studio page for more details. Once authorized, users may access the Maker Studio 24/7.
