College of Allied Health Professions student ambassadors held a food drive in April and May to collect food and personal care items for Project Hope.
Students Shelby Lammers and Caroline Stokes spearheaded the drive and dropped off all donations to the Project Hope Food Pantry.
“All-in-all, we agreed that this was a great service project, said Caroline. “We had a lot of fun, and it was nice to help peers and colleagues give back to the community.”
Personal care items were very popular donations across all locations/modalities.
Highlights:
- There were food/personal care items donated to all 5 locations.
- There were over 30 Amazon Wishlist purchases delivered.
- Around $70 was donated and used to purchase Project Hope requested items.
- They filled three shopping carts FULL of donations.
Thank you to everyone who participated and donated.
