Heather Carney, DMSc, PA-C, recently joined our faculty as an adjunct assistant professor in the Doctor of Medical Science program. She is excited to teach the Quality Improvement course.
Dr. Carney graduated from Quinnipiac University’s Physician Assistant program where she obtained her Master in Health Science degree. She has been working as a Hospitalist PA at Yale New Haven Hospital since graduating in 2009. She moved into a leadership position for the department in 2020 and now manages a large group of PAs and APRNs. She obtained her Doctor of Medical Science degree from the University of Lynchburg with a concentration in Administrative Medicine.
Dr. Carney lives in Connecticut with her husband and three children, who are all hockey players. In her spare time, she travels between ice rinks, cheering on their hockey teams.
