It’s no secret that our Assistant Dean for Student Affairs Amber Donnelly, PhD, is an excellent educator. We’ve known it for years. But now, it’s official.
Dr. Donnelly received the Excellence in Education award at the joint International Congress of Cytology and the American Society of Cytopathology meeting in Baltimore, Md., on November 19, 2022. It’s the only award given for education and can be given to either a pathologist or cytotechnologist.
College of Allied Health Professions Dean Kyle Meyer, PhD, said, “Dr. Donnelly is a forerunner in the education of diagnostic cytologists. This prestigious international award is a recognition by her peers of her significant and innovative contributions. The entire CAHP joins me in congratulating Dr. Donnelly.”
