Founded in 1996, the Children’s Heart Foundation funds promising research aimed at advancing the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of congenital heart defects.
To advance this mission, CHF is currently seeking proposals dedicated to life-changing congenital heart defect research in the areas of clinical cardiology, translational research, population science, and surgical and interventional techniques.
Grant amounts will range up to $100,000.
Areas of interest to the foundation include but are not limited to genetics; biochemistry; pharmacology; devices and procedural research (cardiac catheterization and surgery); neurodevelopmental and functional outcomes; policy with respect to the delivery of care, coverage, and access; maternal environment and modifiable disease impact on fetuses with CHD; fetal diagnosis and intervention; long-term care of adults with CHDs; and technological development and advances.
See the Children’s Heart Foundation for complete program guidelines and application instructions.
