Pilot Grant Funds Available for Clinical/Translational Research

The Center for Clinical and Translational Research (CCTR) Pilot Grant program is available to faculty who need to obtain preliminary data for grant applications or who have budget shortfalls for extramurally funded clinical trials.

Nebraska Medicine in partnership with UNMC College of Medicine and the Center for Clinical and Translational Research has established a write-off fund that allows investigators to waive hospital-based costs of clinical and translational research.  Expenses such as laboratory or radiologic tests, hospital bed costs, or other hospital billable items and associated professional fees are eligible costs that can be covered by the pilot grant program. The amount available varies and a budget justification is required as part of the application process.  Details about the CCTR Pilot Grant Program and application instructions and forms are available on the Center for Clinical and Translational Research website.
