One Stop Shop for Information for the Clinical Researcher

Have you found yourself looking for information about clinical research resources at UNMC without success?  The Center for Clinical and Translational Research (CCTR) is there to assist.

Established in 2007 by the University of Nebraska Board of Regents the CCTR serves as the centralized resource for the clinical researcher.  Some of the resources available through the CCTR include:

Clinical Research Center (CRC).  Provides outpatient clinical research space, skilled research nurses and phlebotomists to assist with inpatient and outpatient protocols.  Additionally the CRC has staff to assist with IRB submission, matrix and budget development and management of research bills. They also assist with training new coordinators on campus

Electronic Health Record Data Access Core (EHR Core). Provides research access to electronic health data from the healthcare information systems; both EPIC One Chart and legacy EHR data.  This resource allows rapid assessment of feasibility and data acquisition when considering a clinical study.

The Nebraska Biobank.  A biorepository of serum and DNA samples with associated de-identified data from the electronic health record.  The Nebraska Biobank can provide samples for pilot grants and method development.

The CCTR website integrates information regarding clinical resources available through Nebraska Medicine and UNMC.  To learn more about the services and resources available visit CCTR.
