Nebraska Center for Prevention of Obesity Diseases Spring Retreat

Registration is now open for the Nebraska Center for the Prevention of Obesity Diseases (NPOD) 12th Annual Spring Retreat on Wednesday, April 14, 2021.  The theme of this year’s symposium is “Adipocytes”.

This event will be delivered by Zoom. (Zoom link will be provided after registration)

The symposium is a free event for faculty, postdocs, students, staff, industry partners, and other interested parties.

Please encourage your students/postdocs to submit a presentation (instructions can be found on the website [cehs.unl.edu]).

The three winning presentations will be recognized with a $150 award and a framed certificate. The announcement of the winners and streaming of their pre-recorded presentations will be at the end of the symposium on April 14.

Nebraska Drug Discovery & Development Pipeline (ND3P)

The ND3P is a Big Idea that brings together researchers from NU’s comprehensive campus in Lincoln (UNL) and its medical campus in Omaha (UNMC) in partnership with other Nebraska campuses and the private sector to build a pipeline for biomedical research projects directed at drug discovery & development. The ND3P Symposium, May 20-21, 2021, will feature internationally renowned plenary lecturers, leading scientists from UNL & UNMC and a discussion about how you can access the ND3P to benefit your research. SNIP COVID Workshop Invitation for Abstracts

In response to the ongoing pandemic, the Society on NeuroImmune Pharmacology (SNIP) is planning a virtual COVID-19 workshop that is FREE and open to SNIP members and non-members alike. UNMC will be facilitating the workshop via Zoom.
