Tech Transfer Bootcamp

In response to increased interest in its internship program, UNeMed has developed a week-long, interactive training camp to help prepare participants for a career in technology transfer.

The program is designed to provide practical guidance that will give participants a comprehensive understanding of their role in technology transfer and emerge better prepared for a career in the field of research commercialization.

Admission to the short course is based on the strength of the application including: academic accomplishments, career interests, and enthusiasm for technology innovation and commercialization.

Doctoral candidates that have completed their comprehensive examination and Postdocs are preferred, but individuals from all colleges across campus are encouraged to apply. All graduate students and Postdocs that wish to apply must have a research adviser that is supportive of the time commitment away from the lab and the student’s alternative career interests.

Cost is free, but space is limited. An application is required.

Questions regarding the Bootcamp can be directed to Agnes Lenagh at unemed@unmc.edu.
