Award-winning physician, sociologist, anthropologist, and educator Henry Perry has three decades of experience managing and evaluating health programs in developing countries. Please join us to celebrate the continuing legacy of our colleagues Gretchen Glodé Berggren, M.D. and Warren Berggren, M.D., Ph.D.

The Berggren lectureship was endowed by Carol Swarts, M.D. (UNMC 1959) to honor the work of Gretchen Berggren, M.D. (UNMC 1958) and the late Warren Berggren, M.D. (UNMC 1955).  After graduating from UNMC College of Medicine, the doctors Berggren spent a lifetime pioneering and implementing Community Oriented Primary Care interventions in Africa and Haiti.
