“Health Equity for U.S. Hispanics/Latinos: Are we making Progress?”

The presentation will share areas addressing Hispanics/Latinos health (e.g., life expectancy, more research, and data, etc.). The presentation will focus on areas in which serious health gaps still exits. Additionally, Dr. Giachello will summarize several of her research studies including intervention research studies using Community Based Participatory Action Research (CBPAR). She will conclude with some recommendations for program planning and implementation, policy and research
