Family Health and Wellness Association (BFHWA)

Black Family Health and Wellness Association, Inc (BFHWA) was started in 1998 in Omaha, Nebraska. BFHWA is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization designed to provide all families access to health information, education, and screenings.     We are a community-based organization that offers free health services to many low-income families through generous corporate and community donations.

14TH Annual Black Family Health and Wellness Association (BFHWA) Health Fair

This is an annual health fair for the community held at Omaha North High School.  This health fair is sponsored by the Black Family Health and Wellness Association in collaboration with many other community agencies.  The Center provides some screenings, information, and supports the report compiled from the information collected during the health fair.  BFHWA also does follow-up  health screenings, a health conference and a career fair for youth.  This year over 820 people participated in the health fair.
