Business Operations Manager<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What made you apply to work at UNMC? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I joined the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2022, after graduating college.  Prior to my arrival to the Department of Psychiatry, I was fortunate enough to spend time with the Department of Radiology as well as the Department of Neurosurgery.  I have been extremely fortunate to begin my professional career at the University of Nebraska Medical Center– I have truly had a rewarding experience while gaining an even deeper understanding and appreciation for the care provided to the region.  I have built extraordinary relationships with individuals at all levels of the institution and I know that I want to continue to pursue a professional career at UNMC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why are you interested in working in behavioral healthcare? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Behavioral healthcare continues to demonstrate its importance within the healthcare landscape.  The Department of Psychiatry has really worked to establish itself within the University of Nebraska Medical Center as a vital, trusted, and respected area of medicine. I was thrilled to bring my administrative skills to the department and continue to build on the well-laid foundation developed under Dr. Howard Liu. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What goals do you have for your position? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My goal when taking on the Business Operations Manager role was to continue to provide high-level support to the fantastic faculty and providers within the Department of Psychiatry.  It has been a unique opportunity to learn about the department’s growth in recent years and to understand the impactful service that the department provides to the community.  I believe the best way to show true compassion and care is to let providers dive into their work.  I would like to continue supporting the department’s activities to the best of my ability and help ensure a seamless healthcare experience for patients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are your hobbies when you’re not working? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I’m not working, I\u2019m typically spending time with my dogs, friends, and family.  I was born and raised just outside of Omaha, so the metro is definitely home for me.  I tend to venture out into Omaha on the weekends. I like to take part in the unique yearly activities that Omaha has to offer, and I love to go out for food and coffee.  I am also lucky enough to be an uncle of three, which takes up a significant portion of my free time.  I do enjoy traveling and try to take an international trip every two years. I tend to stay busy with all of life’s constant chaos!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
