Amy Mead, MBA, BSN, said Dr. Baus is an excelled partner and collaborator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWorking in the evenings and overnights she often is helping to problem solve complex issues and is always willing to come to the ED to assist in meeting patient needs. Dr. Baus consistently has an attitude of \u2018how can we make this happen?\u2019\u201d said Mead, Director Emergency, Psychiatric Emergency and Observation Services with Nebraska Medicine.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"272\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.unmc.edu\/psychiatry\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/58\/2024\/01\/MAIN.Alexis-Hofker-2024.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1835\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.unmc.edu\/psychiatry\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/58\/2024\/01\/MAIN.Alexis-Hofker-2024.png 272w, https:\/\/blog.unmc.edu\/psychiatry\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/58\/2024\/01\/MAIN.Alexis-Hofker-2024-204x300.png 204w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 272px) 100vw, 272px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Hofker is a long-time employee in the Psychiatric Emergency Services unit. Mead calls her an excellent patient advocate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAlexis works diligently with the nursing staff to meet the needs of the patient.
