UNMC Alert: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier today, UNMC received an emailed threat of a potential explosive device in McGoogan Health Sciences Library.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The library was evacuated while the University of Nebraska Police and Public Safety Department (UNPPSD) and the Omaha Police Department (OPD) searched the building.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The building was deemed safe at approximately 1:50 P.M.  Normal operations at library will resume today at 3 P.M.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Schools and businesses across the country received similar threats today.

We want to express thanks to students, faculty, and staff for their cooperation and first responders for their quick response.<\/p>\n
