Watch for more details and registrations closer to event dates.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>August<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Student event:<\/strong> The library&#8217;s open house is August 29 from 11-2 on all floors of the library. Get information about library services, spaces, and partners. Snacks and the sensory room will also be available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>September<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The library is hosting a traveling exhibit from the National Library of Medicine called &#8220;Life and Limb: the Toll of the American Civil War.&#8221; The exhibit will be on display on level 8 of the library from\u00a0September  25-November 4.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>October<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meet the curator and see new additions to the library&#8217;s midwifery rare book collection. The rare books librarian will showcase items on October 4 on level 8 of the library from 11-1 and virtually on October 5 from 12-1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>November<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Monica Schmidt,&nbsp;MA, LMHC, IADC,&nbsp;will discuss Sherlock Holmes and the DSM-VI in a virtual talk.
