McGoogan Library was pleased to host the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery & Rehabilitation faculty on November 11, 2024. The department held their regularly scheduled meeting in the library and then toured one of the library’s rare book rooms on Level 8 to get a sneak peek at historical orthopedics texts from the H. Winnett Orr Collection. These books are now on display on Level 8 of the library as part of the “Orthopedics and Beyond: The H. Winnett Orr Rare Book Collection at a Half-Century” exhibition.
It was a pleasure to share this exhibition with the campus community in a different way. McGoogan Library staff invites other departments to do the same. Special Collections and Archives faculty is happy to tailor your behind-the-scenes experience to your department’s interest or specialty.
